Surrender

“I am learning to live between effort and surrender. I do my best and hope for what I want but I do not resist the direction of the wind.” ~Anonymous

Life reminds me of the ocean. You can surrender to flow or you can go against the current. I am choosing again & again to surrender. Constantly letting go of expectations I pile up high for myself. Whispering sweetly to myself that challenges are placed in front of us for a reason.

“When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change.” Paulo Coelho

The past two weeks have been extremely challenging for reasons I am not ready to share. Despite the difficulties I am taking time to heal and listen. Constantly filling myself with gratitude for every blessing that surrounds me. Why am I sharing this?? In hopes I inspire one person going through a hard time that they are not alone. A reminder to myself & you… that all of us go through challenging times but it makes us stronger. Sometimes the deeper meaning and purpose or why does not come right away.. sometimes healing takes longer than we expect. Be easy with yourself ❤

“Everyone faces challenges in life. It’s a matter of how you learn to overcome them and use them to your advantage.” Celestine Chua

Thank you for reading. I hope you share this with someone who is struggling ❤
