Meet Alex and Katie, a newly engaged and very sweet couple.

I met up with Alex the day before he proposed to Katie, last November. He was absolutely beaming, as he told me his plans of where he wanted to kneel and what he wanted to say.

The day of, with my telephoto lens in action, hiding in the bushes near the Madison Square Park Shake Shack and pretending to take photos of squirrels, I caught Katie’s very happy and surprising moment!

After she said, “Yes” we strolled around to capture some portraits of this very happy couple.
